It’s official; summertime is here! I love this time of year because that’s when you have the chance to spend more time with your friends and family. Whether it’s celebrating your loved one’s special birthday, important holidays, or just darn right fun friends and family get-togethers.

One of the most popular spaces most families entertain in during the summer is the backyard patio, right? You break out the grill, food, drinks & games. In addition to that you, all pull out the patio furniture so that your friends and family have a space to relax and chat the night away reflecting on old and new memories.

This space screams french country from the mixtures of different patterns fabrics utilized in the drapes and toss pillows to the distressed decor of the mirror and intricate detail of the coffee table. I love the neutral all-weather wicker sectional with the accent of the club chair.

The color is very clean and smooth to the eye with the gray tones.   Usually, I am not a fan of see-through wicker, but this style has me blown away. What a bright and cheery space. The construction of the patio is already bright and clean with the white bead-board ceiling accented with an elegant metal candle chandelier. Then there is an element of warmth added with the rattan wicker furniture. However, the cushions and toss pillows are kept neutral to keep that clean look. Lastly, I love how this homeowner created a conversational space by setting the furniture in a basic square format. How fun is this space! I don’t know about you, but if this were my outdoor retreat, I would swing here for hours! I love the mixtures of metal, and various textures of wood, very pleasing to the eye. You can’t tell me that the red colored cushions are not eye-catching! I love how this homeowner went bold with the cushion color and kept the wicker warm and rich in color. As a result, I am drawn in and want to relax and cozy up with my hubby, how about you? They even kept the accent rug warm and added a side table with a simple lantern with greenery to complete their outdoor oasis.
