I am so excited that the fall season is right around the corner!! Yes… I have officially marked my calendar to September 22nd. This is the date to which marks the beginning of transitioning my home from summer to fall as it relates to home decor.
I get so excited to begin my online and in-store search for my favorite decor items of the season. So, over the past few weeks I have searched and narrowed down my favorite home decor items for fall and I can not wait to share them with you all here. If you are looking for some inspiration to get started on your fall decorating then read on to find out my current favorites of the season.
1. Fall Themed Wall Art
One simple way to transform my home to fall is by adding fall inspired wall art to my family room or office. I am in love with the colorful Crimson Trees Art featured above. This is a great piece to pull fall colors into a room. For example if this piece was showcased in my family room I would pull some of the colors from the artwork and add an Orange Spruce Chenille Throw on my sectional.
2. Fall Faux Flowers
Another way I like to bring fall into my home is by converting all of my summer flowers to fall inspired colors. Now if you are like me I tend to harm flowers, I don’t have the green thumb like my mom. As a result, I love faux flowers! In certain areas of my home I live for these gorgeous orange Faux Hydrangeas. The addition of these can add the essence of fall by simply placing them in a beautiful vase that may live on my kitchen or coffee table.
3. Decorative Serveware
There is nothing like a beautiful tablescape filled with your favorite dinner ware mixed in with a unique fall inspired serving tray. One of my favorite table top items for fall is the Copper Leaf Decorative Glass Platter. This is a great piece that adds interest to a thanksgiving inspired table filled with your yummy creations for your friends and family. I would even add this to my desk as a beautiful catch all tray for keys and other small accessories too!

4. Fall Themed Table Accessories
Adding simple tabletop decor that is functional is another great way to bring fall to your kitchen or dinning room table. Look at these cute Pumpkin Salt & Pepper Shakers!!! I am so in LOVE!!
5. Front Entry Decor
What a great way to welcome your guests into your home with a beautiful fall inspired door wreath. I adore the Faux Cornhusk & Sunflower Wreath, for it’s perfect for fall holidays like Halloween and thanksgiving.
6. Decorative Tureens
I am always looking for a statement piece to showcase my yummy creations for my family during holiday dinners. This amazing Pumpkin Tureen with Ladle makes my day!! I can envision my favorite potato soup inside that awesome tureen!
7. Updating Toss Pillows
Toss pillows are another favorite of mine for fall. Adding colorful fall inspired toss pillows are a great way to transform your family room, however if you are not wanting to add too much color then go neutral with a statement. The Beaded Thankful Wreath Pillow is perfect for the season to come. “Thankful” just sums up how I feel these days.
8. Adding Warmth With Scented Candles
You can’t experience the warm of fall without adding some aroma therapy with candles throughout your home. My favorite scents for fall are Pumpkin Spice Mottled Candles or vanilla scented anything!! These scents just smell so good and give me the sense of comfort and joy. Maybe it just takes me back to smelling my mom’s pies cooking during the holidays.
9. Fall Inspired Coffee Mugs
During the fall season I become OBSESSED with warm drinks like PUMPKIN SPICE LATTES!! Yes I said it, but I can not enjoy it without having a fabulous mugs to drink them in. I can just imagine myself drinking my pumpkin spice lattes in these cute Lively Trees Mug. It’s so colorful and sets the mood for fall in my eyes.
I hope that you all found this post inspirational and I hope that it ignited your passion for decorating your home for this fall season. In the meantime, what are your favorite fall decor items you use in your home? Is it wall art, candles or creating fall vignettes on your coffee tables and such? I would love to know!! Until then, I hope your day is filled with sparkle and shine.
XOXO,
Natasha
